The Pinnacle Summit of the Global MBA Community

The MBA World Summit is about shaping a Global Leadership Community. In its function as the annual global top-MBA event the MBA World Summit manages to gather up to 100 of the most exceptional business school students year by year. All of them will be involved in co-creating the agenda for a four-day Summit, which focuses on the three pillars of nurturing a collaborative culture, facilitating high-impact exchange and championing interdisciplinary approaches to global business problems. Attendees debate the most pressing issues of our times as well as future challenges and engage in a vibrant best-practice sharing. Thereby, the MBA World Summit created a new layer of global networking for top-MBA students across worldwide leading business schools, even for those who are already committed to jobs after graduation or use their MBA program as strategic tool to pursue their own business ideas as entrepreneurs.

The beginning for a Long-Lasting Global Leadership Community and Network

Every top student invited to the MBA Worl Summit is automaticall accredited for all consecutive MBA World Summits in the year to come (including full sponsorship of accomodation, catering and entertainment). In this, the past MBA Summits in Hong Kong, Barcelona and Miami were launchpads for its attendees to join and shape this powerful global leadership community, which aims to become the apex leadership network for the most exceptional individuals worldwide. Ever year, a multitude of Summit alumni meet at the MBA World Summit to catch up and strengthen their friendships as well as pass on the Summit´s innovative and electic culture to new members. This growing community carries on the work begun and the relationships forged at the Summit in locally organized “City Circles”, by arranging meet-ups, ground up initiatives and debating pressing issues.

Summit Laboratory Sessions (SLS)

A Creative “Laboratory” for Collaborative Exchange

The MBA World Summit is by far “The” platform where the collective voice and wisdom of the most innovative and passionately collaborative MBA students is heard. To this end, many participants prepare a series of experimental workshops, termed ’Summit Laboratory Sessions’, to share their knowledge and incubate emerging ideas during the course of the Summit. These workshops span an eclectic gamut of topics and provoke vigorous discussion amongst the participants, helping to forge strong relationships amongst this group of upcoming global business leaders.

Tim-Eisenmann-Award

The “Tim-Eisenmann-Award” was named after its 2014 inaugural winner and is awarded each year to one of the 100 MBA students participating the MBA World Summit. The award is presented to the best speaker at the MBA World Summit. One who exemplifies leadership through their presentation at the Summit Laboratory Sessions.

To be awarded you need to be the best speaker at the MBA World Summit. One who exemplifies leadership and inspiration through their presentation at the Summit Laboratory Sessions. The recipient of this award has to be nominated and voted on by the attendees of the MBA World Summit. Previous recipients have helped the community envision the future and identify paths to success.

All MBA World Summit attendees are given an opportunity to vote live during the sessions and the nominee with the highest ranked Summit Laboratory Session will win the Tim-Eisenmann Award. The MBA World Summit Crew will review all nominees and present the award at the evening cocktail session on the second day of the MBA World Summit.

Voices from previous MBA World Summits

After a wonderful experience at the 2014 MBA World Summit in Hong Kong, I was extremely excited to be able to attend the 2015 Summit in Barcelona as an alumnae. This annual event is an opportunity to meet intelligent and inspiring people, learn from others’ experiences through the SLS, and catch up with old friends. The GLC continues to inspire me, and I feel very lucky to be a part of this diverse community. THANK YOU QX for creating such a special event. These moments are ones I will never forget!

The QX-Quarterly Crossing team was amazing in every way, and the event exceeded my already high expectations.
Being immersed in a foreign country with cross-cultural MBA leaders enabled me to see the impact of globalisation on the business environment. Having a group of new friends, who also happen to be leaders in their community, will be immensely helpful in the future.
See you in Miami next year!

After attending both the first and second MBA World Summit in Hong Kong and Barcelona I can safely say that I am hooked for many more years to come. Smart people, tons of networking opportunities and enough time to “play” in amazing cities – what more can you ask for? I am also excited to see how valuable many of the alumni connections will prove to be in the future with events happening all over the globe in between the summits.
