MBA WORLD SUMMIT 2015

March 25th – 28th | Barcelona, Spain

After its inauguration in 2014, the MBA World Summit 2015 took place in the fascinating European metropolis of Barcelona, Spain – March, 25th – 28th.Returning once again after the tremendous success in 2014, 95 exceptional and rigorously selected MBA talents (out of 3.000 applicants) were invited to attend the exclusive conference, held at the lush campus of IESE Business School

The participants came from 31 top business schools across the globe and represented more than 30 nationalities. Again all of them were involved in co-creating the agenda for the Summit, which focuses each year on the three pillars of nurturing a collaborative culture, facilitating high-impact exchange and championing interdisciplinary approaches to global business problems.Thereby, the IESE Business School with its strong commitment to the development of innovative and upright leaders as well as the enchanting city of Barcelona, provided the perfect venues to stimulate vigorous discussions amongst the participants.

Moreover, the MBA World Summit 2015 was the launch pad for the Global Leadership Community (GLC), which aims to become the apex leadership network comprising all Summit participants – past, present and future. Founded with the goal to build a truly global community of like-minded leaders who are willing to shape a better future for our world it follows the idea of “Inspiration con brio: Inspiration, vigorously applied.”

After a wonderful experience at the 2014 MBA World Summit in Hong Kong, I was extremely excited to be able to attend the 2015 Summit in Barcelona as an alumnae. This annual event is an opportunity to meet intelligent and inspiring people, learn from others’ experiences through the SLS, and catch up with old friends. The GLC continues to inspire me, and I feel very lucky to be a part of this diverse community. THANK YOU QX for creating such a special event. These moments are ones I will never forget!

It’s time to leave Barcelona and I could not have asked for a more memorable first European trip. Met some of the most inspiring young MBAs from all over the world and made some great friends. Big thanks to the QX-Quarterly Crossing team for this amazing event and the students from IESE for being great hosts. Hope to see everyone again in Miami next year!

I’m back to school and drowning in the crazy amount of work, but the best memories about the Summit keep me going. What a wonderful event your team has organized! 🙂 Can’t wait to see you all again in Miami!

The QX-Quarterly Crossing team was amazing in every way, and the event exceeded my already high expectations. Being immersed in a foreign country with cross-cultural MBA leaders enabled me to see the impact of globalisation on the business environment. Having a group of new friends, who also happen to be leaders in their community, will be immensely helpful in the future.
See you in Miami next year!

After attending both the first and second MBA World Summit in Hong Kong and Barcelona I can safely say that I am hooked for many more years to come. Smart people, tons of networking opportunities and enough time to „play“ in amazing cities – what more can you ask for? I am also excited to see how valuable many of the alumni connections will prove to be in the future with events happening all over the globe in between the summits.
