WHAT'S THE DEAL ABOUT THE MBA WORLD SUMMIT THAT DROVE YOU TO JOIN THE INITIATIVE ONCE AGAIN?

Play a part in shaping the media world of tomorrow! We are searching for people with strong analytical and communication skills, who are willing to take responsibility in a creative and entrepreneurial environment. Strategic thinking, international experience and a passion for (digital) media are key aspects for a successful entry at Bertelsmann. Unlike a traditional career fair or recruiting, the MBA Summit doesn’t just bring together the brightest talents from a talent or region, it brings together the best talent from around the world. This makes it extremely efficient (and fun!) for us to get to know the next wave of future leaders.

CAREER

WHY IS YOUR COMPANY ATTRACTIVE TO MBA STUDENTS?

Bertelsmann’s diversity is reflected in the people who work here - their responsibilities, their backgrounds, and their wide range of accomplishments. Being an international media company, we pride ourselves on the varied texture of our people, both culturally and individually. One unifying theme for all, however, is our passion for media.

TYPICAL MBA STUDENTS ENTRY POSITIONS/ PROGRAMS AND DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Every year, we accept a few, outstanding high potentials into our Bertelsmann Entrepreneurs Program (BEP). The goal of this program with its generalist orientation is to develop candidates into executives and have them assume responsible positions within the briefest possible period of time. The custom-tailored program takes up to 18 months to complete, during which a variety of entrepreneurial projects are carried out in various Bertelsmann divisions worldwide (print, publishing, television, the music business as well as a wide range of service offers). Participants are supported by the Management Development Team and acquire well-founded insight into the corporate structure and culture at Bertelsmann. In addition, regular alumni meetings are held to enable the participants to expand their network. For more information take a look at our BEP-Image-Video, the BEP-Website or download our information brochure.
