This Year’s Host: Frankfurt School of Finance & Management
Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is a leading private business school based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. They have 86 regional education centres throughout Germany and various joint ventures and programmes abroad. They offer top class degree courses and continuing education options in seven different programme divisions. They maintain four specialist research centres and run numerous international consulting projects.
All educational, research and consulting activities are focused on finance and management. By finance, they mean cross functional financial activities at all companies that deal with financial management. And by management, they mean classical corporate leadership, where managers deploy employees and resources in such a way that the company’s goals are met as cost-effectively as possible.
Frankfurt School of Finance & Management originated in the financial sector, but today their services enjoy increasing appreciation in other business sectors as well. In the future, they will be continuing to expand their national and international networking with the business community.
The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is accredited by the Association of MBAs. Following AACSB and EQUIS accreditation, Frankfurt School now joins the elite circle of so-called “Triple Crown“ business schools. Only about 90 business schools worldwide have been triple accredited thus far. They offer a suite of internationally accredited and ranked MBA and EMBA programmes catering to the needs of professionals at every level of management. Their programmes are offered both full and part-time and follow the participant-centered learning approach developed by Harvard Business School. Day 1 – Wed, 18th March 2020
Exciting adventures to the city‘s cultural hotspots and heritage sites. The expeditions are perfect „ice-breakers“ and a special opportunity to build first meaningful relationships in a comfortable, informal and inspirational setting.

Day 2 – Thu, 19th March 2020
Welcoming & Keynotes
Using the facilities of Frankfurt School, all participants get together to kick-off the main working day of the event: Day 2. Where a number of MBA students get the opportunity to become of the “Voices” and conduct one of the SLS.
Summit Laboratory Sessions (SLS)
MBA students conduct experimental ‘lab sessions’ – lectures, workshops, ‘talk-shops’ or ‘think-tanks’ designed to inspire and incite intense discussion and best-practice-sharing. These student speakers have complete control over the creative direction of their proposed topics, which are screened, selected and then refined by the organizing committee prior to the Summit.
A dedicated time slot allotted to partner companies to present their career opportunities and business model. Partner companies benefit by building positive employer brand value through word-of-mouth propagation within the personal networks of these top MBA students.
The Big Idea Lounge
Entrepreneurial MBA-students meet with like-minded peers as well as VC-managers, Investors and the who-is-who of the host city’s top-entrepreneurs in an exclusive setting to engage into in-depth discussions about on-going business topics, share best-practices, seek mutual inspiration and discuss future-business opportunities.
Company representatives conduct in-depth interviews with pre-selected candidates in order to recruit students for suitable positions – in parallel to the SLS and throughout the day.
A relaxed time to unwind after the day’s events, engage in informal discussions and present the “Tim-Eisenmann-Award” to the most popular student-led workshop. This award is named after 2014’s inaugural winner.
A comfortable setting for candidates and company representatives to engage in private and in-depth discussion on business and career related issues over an enjoyable networking dinner.
Day 3 – Fri, 20th March 2020
Social Impact Day
More than ever, responsibility for our planet and society is an important theme for us all. That’s why the MBA World Summit enables students to take a deeper look at social impact issues, gain first-hand experience in the field and become actively involved in meaningful local and international projects contributing their expertise and experience to a meaningful purpose.
Company representatives may invite a pre-selected group of MBA students on a tour of their local offices. This presents a powerful opportunity to orientate candidates to the company culture and leave a positive and indelible impression of the employer brand in candidates’ minds.
Networking Lunch & Resolution
A truly unique networking experience reflecting the host city‘s lifestyle: Be surprised for a truly local experience. Personal bonds are strengthened between participants in a relaxed setting that allows them to let their hair down and resolve to remain in contact even after the Summit ends.
